Recap Game

I am a sunday school teacher for a youth class at my church. I have found when there is no time to put together a activity I simpily do the recap game.
My youth class loves that game and it gets them familiar with the bible more. They learn off what they can remember. Here's how it works.
Hopefully most of you Sunday school teachers keep candy or some sort of reward in your class room. You start you lesson off like you always do, read the bible or work out of your work books. After the lesson is done you gather the materials from the students and split them up into teams.
Then when you have them split up you ask them question about what you talked about or learned and the first team that raises their hand and gets it right gets a point.
But there's more. If the team that raised their hand doesn't get it right, then you go to the next team. If they get it right, then they get the point. I usually only give them 20 sec to figure out the answers to the questions.
My Sunday school class love this game. Like I said, it helps them learn the bible better and remember what they all talked about. Just don't forget to hand the prize or candy out to the winning team.
