Musical Ice-ball.

by Rob Blanshard
(Mtubatuba, South Africa.)

Preparation: 1. Freeze a cup of water. 2. Have a cd. player, or a musical instrument (with musician) ready.

How to play: Have everyone stand in a circle. Remove the 'ice ball' from the cup and give it to someone in the circle. Start the music, with the operator or musician looking the other way. When the music starts they begin passing the ice ball around. Stop the music, and whoever has it must hold it cupped in both hands and tell the group 2, 3, or 4 things about themselves, eg. name, age, likes, dislikes, pet's name etc. (Decide beforehand how many to tell) When they have finished speaking, the music starts again, and the ice-ball is passed on. Continue until the ice is all melted or everyone has had a chance to speak.

NB. Best played outside or on a tiled floor where the melted ice will not mess up the carpets.

Ages:] Primary up to adult.
