Dinner and a Movie

Very fun and inexpensive night out with my wife, and a great do it yourself fundraiser for our Church.

I attend Plainview Baptist Church located on Nine Mile Road in Pensacola Florida. It is a small and very modest church, but we are constantly growing thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We've recently started a dinner and a movie night held every third Friday of the month. We play a familly friendly movie and offer typical movie refreshments(hot dogs, popcorn, candy, soft drinks) and charge well below the movie theaters.

Last month, my wife and I went for the first time and watched Fireproof starring Kirk Cameron. Amazing movie and great to share with fellow Christians. Plus, we got out paying less than ten dollars, which would have been the admission cost for one at the movie theater. All revenue goes to the church who still turns an okay profit after food costs and such. Very simple idea that is enjoyed by several members of my church.
