Ball Toss Introduction

Each child is given a half-sheet of cardstock, with holes punched in both top corners. Run yarn through the holes creating a necklace. On the cardstock everyone, including the teacher, writes his/her name. Draw pictures of hobbies and interests around the name.
Everyone then sits in a circle. Have the children toss a small ball or stuffed animal from child to child. When the ball is caught, the child tells the others his/her name and explains the pictures on the card.
